This is just me, But I thought of a compromise: When doing long comics (Misty Gets Wet, Kimplants, Lezzing of Korra etc…), you can do your normal update schedule of 3 a week, but in between those, you do the higher-quality stuff like this with only 2 a week.
I’m suggesting this because, like CCD, I like the 3 a week schedule of updates when you are telling a story, but I also like the new HQ stuff, and I’m sure that your fans wouldn’t mind slower, one-off updates in between continuous comics.
What do you think Shad? Does this work for you? It’s just something I thought of.
