I love Skyrim, wasted (and still waste) a lot of time. Not yet as much as in Oblivion (still unfinished, too many addons). I like lots of things about that game.
My first thought when I glimpsed preview details: Dragon’s? C’mon, this is the most worn out fantasy-RPG-game theme avail.
If only they would have used more polygons on rocks or directx11 to fake them, c’mon – triangles ten time the size of the player? This is 2012 and not 1996 (Tomb Raider 1).
If only they could have made a better user interface, and would not have mixed up left-right mouse button on the PC version.
Autoheal if you hide? How low.
Weapons and Armour don’t degrade? This was so realistic.
I can only wear ONE ring? Where is the logic in that?
What, I cannot cast magic (i.e. speak) while carrying a two handed weapon?
The amount of buggy quests is “typical Bethesda”, for me a known problem since Daggerfall. I would have been stuck a dozen times if there were not those wiki’s around.
Why are the textures so low-res, and inconsistent in resolution?
What is the game worth if you play in the highest skill and still have no “hardcore mode” where you are required to eat, drink and sleep (with the achievemnts to prove you are playing hard skill and hardcore)?
How can one hour sleep after 100+ hours game time make you “well rested”?
How can it be the “see very far” means “as far as xbox 69 can do while still keeping 60 fps” and make us use .ini hacks again only to get at least some further view and prevent characters popping out of nothingness (as far as the limited engine can take it).
How can it be that the world is still small, larger as in vanilla oblivion, but still too smaller than Morrowind?
I can kill Dragons with ONE arrow if I am lucky, and need only TWO most of the time? There are tiny 40 cm arrows, not http://gamblershouse.files.wordpress.com/2010/07/albuquerquebigarrow.jpg .
